When words fail to cut through the noise,
I pick up the guitar.
When words fail to cut through the bullshit, I pick up the guitar.
My 2024 album 'Hope' explores the same tensions I navigate with clients and write about in my books: How do we stay human in complex times? This isn't a side project – it's proof that full expression isn't just a concept. It's how I live.
Influences
My lyrics emerge from the same source as my writing and advisory work: the tension between who we're supposed to be and who we actually are. The songs wrestle with what my clients face in boardrooms and what we all face at 3am – the search for meaning, the courage to show up authentically, the question of whether we've lost our minds or the world has.
Musically, I draw from Dave Matthews' rhythmic complexity, John Mayer's introspection, and Paul Simon's storytelling. Contemporary influences include Bahamas, Madison Cunningham, and Jacob Collier – artists who blend sophistication with accessibility.
I perform regularly across Germany, turning each concert into a space where courage and inspiration meet community.
Whether I'm deep in a book manuscript or crafting new songs, my creative work flows between mediums, each informing the other. It's where I practice what I preach about living fully – not performing for others, but sharing what's real.
